Young Eagles Hartford Rally
June 22 2002
On June 22, 2002 a special Young Eagles Rally was held at Brainard Airport
in Hartford, Connecticut in cooperation with the
Time For Life
group.Early morning weather was nice, if rather hazy. Three pilots flew the kids who showed up--Bill Greenberg, Fred Moses and Nels Anderson. Ground crew included Charlie Smith, Hector Constantzos and Mike Doyle.
The turnout was not quite as high as anticipated but new Young Eagles and pilots enjoyed some nice flights together.
After lunch at the airport restaurant, the crew returned home through some even hazier weather made more challenging by a few scattered showers that had to be avoided.
